Boka tek før seg førebuingane til eit kaffiselskap. Nokon har handla inn sukker. Ulike aktørar skal plasserast på bordet. Gullerotkaka skal ut av omnen. Kaffien skal inn på bordet, men vil ikkje. Øvst på bokhylla er ei gul badeand med ei dundrande hovudpine. Av ukjente grunnar er ho i tillegg plassert opp ned. Støvet på den same bokhylla er på kanten til eit vitskapleg gjennombrot. Situasjonen i kjøleskåpet er kritisk, eller ikkje. Pakka med Knekkebrød lir. Lysestaken vil helst ikkje fortelje heile sanninga. Fysikkboka har høgdeskrekk. På salongbordet sit ein frosk og fylgjer med på det heile, og sjølvsagt sit det ei fluge i taket. Boka er delt inn i tre kapittel; Før, Etter og Sukkerkornet. Boka er på eit vis ein oppfylgjar til Hendinga. Men no er det ikkje ein kriminalsak det er snakk om. Boka er rikt illustrert med om lag 100 teikningar. Boka er innkjøpt av Norsk Kulturråds innkjøpsordning.
The books began the necessary preparations for coffee and cake. One of them had bought sugar. Different articles were to be placed on the table. The carrot cake had to come out of the oven. The coffee was ready to be taken to the table but didn´t want to go. On the highest bookshelf there sat a yellow rubber duck with a dreadful headache. For reasons unknown she had been placed upside-down. The dust on the same shelf was on the edge of making of a scientific breakthrough. The situation in the refrigerator was critical, or else not. A packet of rye crisps laughed. The ceiling light avoided telling the whole truth. A book on physics had vertigo. On the dining table sat a frog observing it all, and of course there was a fly on the ceiling. The book is divided into three chapters; Before, After and Grains of Sugar. The book is, in a way, a follow up to Hendinga. Only now there is no criminal case to speak about. The book is richly illustrated with around 100 illustrations. The Arts Council Norway has purchased this book.
