Bad, Like Jesse James

A novel based on a true crime story, BAD, LIKE JESSE JAMES tells the tale of an incredibly corrupt A.T.F. agent working out of Detroit in the mid-1970s who trafficked heroin, committed armed robbery, sold illegal guns and explosives to criminals, was involved in graft, fraud, hired hits, tried to rob an armored Brinks truck and even threatened to blow up Detroit Airport unless he was paid one million dollars. All the while he was considered an exemplary agent, and was even awarded "Agent of the Month." BAD, LIKE JESSE JAMES is the story of a man who believed that he was above the law, until the law took him down.
