Patricia, Prefect

Patricia, the youngest of the prefects, is generally considered a bit ‘frothy’. Somehow she has never quite learned the knack of appropriate aloofness. Enter new girl, Veronica, who responds well to Patricia’s ‘frothing over’ but rails against the long-standing traditions of the school. Patricia’s championship of the new girl finds her at loggerheads with the other prefects and the establishment at large. Will Patricia—and Veronica—fall into line or will they continue to challenge long-accepted practices? Patricia pays a heavy price, but St Chad’s will never be the same again.
